Bath and Body Works Haul :)

Hi dolls, I popped into Bath and Body works to restock on a few things that I wanted, I was a little disappointed when I didn't find some of the products that I wanted. 

Here's my haul: 

I went in to get the Black Amethyst shower gel as I only had the triple moisture body cream at home and I also got the Black Raspberry Vanilla body lotion as I had a full bottle of the shower gel, I love layering the scents and that's why I need to have the shower gel and the body lotion. 

Also, I recently changed my bathroom, so now I have a huge bath tub that I can use for bubble baths! When I saw that they have a bubble bath in the Midnight Pomegranate range, I had to get it as It's my all time favourite scent.

I was also looking for the Cucumber and Melon mini anti bacterial to keep in my handbag, but they were out of it so I picked up the Nectarine and Mint instead which I love as well and have it in the form of the hand soap.

I also saw these cute decorative hand wash holders by the Christmas aisle and I had to pick one up for the hand wash containers that I have at home.

Monthly Favourites - November 2011

Hi lovelies, welcome to my November Favourites post. The products featured are items that I used a lot this month so let's get to it!

 Face Products

NARS Casino Bronzer
I've been using this bronzer all over my face with a large powder brush. I love how subtle it looks and it looks great under blusher, I find it helps blusher pop a bit more.

Dior Skin Shimmer Powder 002 Amber Diamond
This powder has been my go to highlighter to use on my cheeks, nose and under my brows. I find the shimmer to be finely milled and doesn't look too much on the skin for every day use.

2) Cheek Products

MAC Mineralize Blush

You can tell from my last Operation Blush Out post that I've been using my MAC Mineralize Blushes more than my regular blushes this month. I like how pigmented they are and how they give a nice finish on the skin. My top favourites this month are Nuance and New Vibe. 

3) Lip Products

Bold Lipsticks

I've been loving bold lipsticks this month probably because of the weather change. Winged liner and a bold bright lip is the perfect combo. I discovered an oldie but a goodie in my lipstick stash MAC's Rozz Revival, I purchased this back in 2008. Rose Maiden is a gorgeous bold plummy pink shade. 

4) Eye Products

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in 'Binge'

This pencil gives the nice pop of dark blue on the lower lashline, especially when you're only wearing mascara.

MAC Brow Set in 'Clear'

This brow gel keeps my curly eyebrow hairs in place all day.

5) Body Products

Midnight Pomegranate Shower Gel, Triple Moisture Body Cream and  Body Spray

Midnight Pomegranate is absolutely my favourite line from Bath and Body Works, I have repurchased it several times and I never get bored of it. The triple moisture body cream is ideal to use during this time of the year as it's very moisturising. Layering the shower gel with the body cream and body spray helps the scent last longer onto the skin.

Burberry Body has been my most used perfume during October/November. The scent is kind of intense yet subtle at the same time and I like how long lasting it is. It smells sweet yet fresh, it's definitely worth splurging on.

Today is my blog's first birthday, It's been a year since I posted my first ever blog post! I can't believe it's been a year, time flew by really quick!!

What are your favourite nail polish shades during winter?

Mine has to be reds (especially during the festive season) or browns. I love 'Ruby Pumps' from China Glaze, it's my favourite red nail polish, I blogged about it here. MAC 'Dim the Lights' is the perfect brown shade for me. I blogged about it here.

Operation Blush Out! Post #11

Hi lovelies, I hope that you're all having a great week. It's time to check out the blushes that I've used. I focused on using the mineralize blushes from MAC. I scratched off Merrily, Light over dark, Improvise, New vibe and Cheek & Cheerful off my list so that I don'y use them again till I've used all my other blushes once.
