2012 Beauty Favourites

Hi everyone! How are you all doing? Today, I'll share with you the products that stood out to me in 2012. These are products that I have reached for throughout the year and enjoyed using them. I hope you find this post useful.
Let's get started...

Fragrance

I have fell in love with the Burberry Body perfume at the end of 2011 and It's been my favourite fragrance in 2012. Unfortunately it fell and smashed on the floor but I purchased it a few months later!

My second favourite perfume is Gucci Guilty. I've been alternating between it and Givenchy's Very Irristable (all time favorite) throughout the year.

Face and Body

Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator: I love the feel of this exfoliator, it's so smooth and gentle on the skin. The granules are really smooth and doesn't irritate the skin.

I've tried a few Bath and Body works scents in 2012 and my favourites after Midnight Pomegranate are the Dark Kiss and Japanese Cherry Blossom line. They are both sweet scents. I like to use the shower gel followed by the triple moisturiser body cream followed by the body spray. This helps in building up the scent and last all day.

Sweet Pea Anti Bacterial Moisturizing Hand Soap - This is my favourite hand wash scent.for 2012. It smells very fresh and clean, also it's very moisturising.

Hair

Kerestase Ciment Anti-Usure Conditioner - This product leaves my ends incredibly soft and smooth. It's very creamy and it works great as a hair mask as well!.

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum - I love the scent of this serum. It sorts out my frizzy hair and leaves my smooth.

Boot's Hair Donut - After watching lots of hair tutorials on how to do a top knot, I ventured out and bought this little gem. I can't do a proper top knot without it.

Nails

OPI Polishes - Who doesn't love OPI? My favourite pix this year were Pink Flamenco, Tickle My Francey and Chocolate Moose. Pinks, corals browns and nudes are my go to shades.

Quickies Nail Varnish Remover Pads - These pads remove polish really easily and I find that they are very moisturising. I can take the majority of the polish using 1 or 2 pads. Perfect for removing nail varnish on the go.

Makeup

Face Products:

Benefit The POREfessional - This product leaves my oily skin matte throughout the day without any need for touch-ups. I dab it on my nose, cheek area and my forehead (that's were I tend to get oily). It helps mattify my skin.

Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser - Love this product. Been using it every morning for work and on my lazy days. It evens out my skin tone and doesn't feel greasy like other oil free tinted moisturisers.

Sigma Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki F80 - This is a great brush for buffing in any sort of liquid base. I love using it with my tinted moisturiser. This brush is my favourite 2012 beauty discovery.

Petri Dish - I pour liquid foundation and concealer onto this petri dish, it is so much easier to spread the product on and more hygenic than dirtying your hands.

Eye Products:

This year I have learnt how to put on false eyelashes! I'm chuffed that I can manage to put on false lashes after many disastrous results. I've been liking the eylure lashes a lot.

Benefit They're Real - Great mascara, definitely a must have in my make up collection.

MAC Naked Pigment - Great everyday shadow for the lid. I love wearing it on it's own with winged liner. It looks effortless. I also like to apply it as a brow bone highlight when I have shimmery eyeshadow on the lid.

MAC Reflects Blue - This glitter looks gorgeous on top of blue/violet or black eyeshadow. It's very sparkly and makes the eyes stand out. Love wearing it for weddings and parties.

Lip Products:

Illamasqua Belladona Intense Gloss - My favourite hot pink gloss, I have worn this almost everyday during summer. I love the formula of Illamasqua's glosses, they are pigmented and creamy.

MAC Rebel Lipstick - Perfect berry toned lipstick for Autumn/Winter. I've worn it a lot in 2012.
